This is a basic page with a basic purpose, to convince you to purchase an F4 Illustrator or NOT to purchase a Spyder. The reason i compare the F4 with the Spyder is because they are considered by many to be the two best markers in the low to mid-priced ranged semi-automatics. From my experience, I have not seen a single F4 illustrator on the field as of yet, but I have seen many Spyders, and so far, I remain unimpressed. I ordered my F4 Illustrator on Tuesday, December 7th. This gun is an investment I look forward to recieving, and I will keep you posted as to what I put on the gun and as to my success with it.
Now on to the fun part, describing the Spyder and its inferiorness. The Spyder HAS to be the most broken down gun I have EVER seen on the field, and it is not the quietest of them all either. It has a cocking knob that can come loose in the middle of a game, a cheap venturi bolt that busts balls in the power feed unit once every few games, and a bottom line with offset holes, so you have to get a special adapter to put a regular bottom line on! I know the guns have a nice trigger pull and a pretty cool looking body, but the coolness ends there my friend! Spyders are CHEAP!! I personally think that, and many other people agree with me that Spyders are for disbelievers in the F4's POWER. I could go on and on about all of the many things wrong with the Spyder, but I would rather talk about the AWESOMENESS of an F4...
The F4 is a great marker that has been designed with the talented player with a low budget in mind. The gun doesn't make a player, a PLAYER makes a player, but a gun sure as hell helps! I have researched many guns for many months, and I have kept coming back to the same conclusion, the F4 is the gun for me. The F4 comes with an all-weather valve, in which CO2 does NOT affect it nearly as much as it would any other gun, such as an Automag, but rather it sucks it in and keeps on going! It also has a valve that is VERY gas conservant, in which 1000+ shots can be achieved off of a 12oz tank. The F4 also has such features as powerfeed, bottom line connected by a S.S. hose to a vertical adapter, a stock barrel(very good compared to many stock barrels), internal slide cocking, and many other features. Overall, these features and a small price tag add up to GREAT VALUE!
My Review of the F4 and it's performance: SOON!!
